Shopping for anything you need or desire is just minutes away. You can head to Montgomery Mall, located between Routes 202 and 309, The Shoppes at English Village on Route 309, or the King of Prussia Mall on Route 202. The Kohl’s/Clemens Shopping Center just a few miles south on Route 202, Peddlers Village located in Bucks County, and Franklin Mills Outlet Mall on Interstate 95 are other shopping options. Recreation
In addition to the on-site fitness and social centers at The Reserve, you can venture out to explore some recreational options. Plan a walking tour of The Gwynedd Wildlife Preserve, located off Swedesford Road near Township Line Road, to experience 240 acres of wildlife habitats, ponds, wetlands, open meadows, wildflower meadows, deciduous forests, and trails. Upper Gwynedd Township Park has exercise and jogging trails as well as lighted basketball and tennis courts. Join the Blue Bell Country Club in nearby Blue Bell, or get out the glove and play in the Senior Softball League. Windlestrae Park, off of Kenas Road near Stump Road, offers hiking, a community garden, and trails. If your passion is chasing the little white ball on the links there are several challenging golf courses nearby. A quick day trip gets you to the exciting Atlantic City casinos and beaches, and the beautiful Pocono Mountains are a short drive to the north. Are you a real nature buff? The Mill Grove Estate in Audubon, a 175-acre estate and the only true Audubon Home still standing in America, attracts over 175 species of birds and over 500 flowering plants.
