"After spending 12 years working in the casino and real estate industries I took a leap of faith and landed the golden opportunity of becoming the Lifestyle Director here at Sun City Shadow Hills. I have spent the last year and half working with a solid team of individuals that have put the life into lifestyle and I have enjoyed every minute of it. The times and experiences we share as a community has given us memories and value that are unprecedented and irreplaceable. Enjoy the lifestyle!

"My name is Evangeline Gomez and I have the pleasure of being the Fitness Director for the Montecito Fitness Center. I love being part of the Sun City Shadow Hills family and helping all of the residents enjoy being active and obtaining their individual fitness goals in our state of the art fitness center. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Recreation, Health & Wellness and over 20 years of experience in fitness, spa, recreation and hospitality industries and have spent my career specializing in the Active Adult population.
The Montecito Fitness Center is by far the premiere fitness facility in the entire desert; with all of your fitness needs under one roof. It’s fully equipped with the most up to date Cybex Eagle strength equipment, Startrac cardiovascular equipment (each with their own individual flat screen TV) including 2 of the much raved about ARC trainers by Cybex. In addition to the extraordinary equipment the Montecito Fitness Center also features an Indoor Pool with 5 lanes designed for lap swimming and Aquatic classes and an indoor Jacuzzi to relax in after your Aquatic workout. A spacious Aerobics Studio is home to many different types of Group Exercise classes. That’s just the inside! Outdoors we have a beautiful Social Pool and Jacuzzi to relax by and enjoy the fantastic desert weather and breathtaking views. If you enjoy Bocce Ball and Tennis you’ll be happy to know we have 5 Bocce Ball, 4 Tennis courts, 2 Shuffleboard courts and a beautiful putting course.

From Los Angeles Area:
- Take I-10 East to the Palm Springs Resort Area
- Exit at the Indio Blvd/Jefferson St Exit
- Stay to the left on the off ramp to turn left at the stop sign and go back over the bridge
- Turn right at the Varner Rd stop sign
- Then turn left at the first street, which is Jefferson St
- Sun City Shadow Hills will be on the right side after approximately 0.25 miles
From Arizona:
- Take I-10 West to Indio
- Exit at Jefferson St
- Turn right at the end of the off ramp and proceed to the stop sign
- Turn right at the Varner Rd stop sign
- Then turn left at the first street, which is Jefferson St
- Sun City Shadow Hills will be on the right side after approximately 0.25 miles
