    Medical

    There are four major hospitals within 20 miles or less of East Gate: INOVA Fair Oaks, INOVA Loudoun, INOVA Fairfax, and Reston Hospital. At a distance of only eight miles, INOVA Fair Oaks is the closest to East Gate. If you are in need of urgent care, you could visit INOVA Urgent Care in Centerville or the 24-Hour Urgent Care Fair Oaks Medical Center.

    Transportation

    If you’re going to Washington, DC, MetroBus provides service from the Lafayette Business Center in Chantilly to the Vienna Metro on weekdays. There are also two Park and Ride lots nearby that provide bus service to the Vienna Metro (one off of Stingfellow Road in Chantilly and the other off of Lee Highway in Centerville). The Loudoun County Commuter Bus provides weekday service from Sterling to various locations in Washington, DC. Bus transportation within Loudoun County is provided by the Virginia Regional Transit, and within Fairfax County is provided by the Fairfax Connector.

    Recreation

    Loudoun County and Fairfax County boast outstanding Parks and Recreation Departments with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. Fairfax County is home to Cub Run Recreation Center and Ellanor C. Lawrence Park. Loudoun County is home to Ida Lee Park, Conklin Park, and Algonkian Park. There are also many accessible golf courses in both Loudoun and Fairfax counties, such as the Pleasant Valley Golf Club in Chantilly.

    Culture / Entertainment

    In addition to the extensive recreation and shopping opportunities in Fairfax and Loudoun counties, Washington DC is less than 30 miles away with museums, historical attractions, sporting events, theatre productions, and world-class restaurants. For entertainment a little closer to home, the Centerville Multiplex Cinema offers movies for everyone.
