The Orange Schools were nationally recognized in 2009 as a top ten ranking school district in the sixth annual Digital School Districts Survey. Orange is the only district in Ohio to achieve this honor.

Moreland Hills Elementary School was selected as an Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators (OAESA) Hall of Fame School for 2003.

Ballard Brady Middle School was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a 2001-2002 Blue Ribbon School. Brady was the only middle school in northeastern Ohio to earn this distinction. The Blue Ribbon Schools Program has focused on school improvement initiatives.
