On Site Elementary School and Park Community

Take a Ride to Fun
A seven acre transportation themed park, this play space can guarantee fun for all ages! The park has two separate play structures, a mini-skate park, sledding hill and asphalt path. In addition, the four acre open area provides the perfect place for the neighborhood ball games.
The playground has something for kids of all ages! Children ages 2 to 5 can play on the truck and car play structures and several swings are surrounded by an asphalt path striped like a road. The play area is complete with two gas pumps for the little drivers to fill up their tank. Two working stoplights, directional signs, two crosswalks and railroad crossing will help kids learn the rules of the road. A parking meter and several parking spots are also included in the design.
A mini-skate park helps young skateboarders learn to perfect their skills in an area designed just for them! Park District sponsored events like “movie night in the park” cap off the perfect childhood experience. Wow, just imagine your children spending their summer afternoons getting exercise, building friendships all within the convenience and security that comes with an on-site park!

Recreation
Raging Waves Waterpark is Chicagolands’s premier water park and as a homeowner of Autumn Creek, you’ll enjoy having it nearby! Raging Waves opened in 2008 and has all the attractions of a mega water park. There is a wave pool, lazy river, high speed slides, interactive water features for kids and much more. Raging Waves is the perfect summer outing for entertaining the family!
Whether its aerobics, swimming, strength training, sports, classes, child programming, or something else, the Fox Valley YMCA, located less than 4 miles from Autumn Creek, has it all. It’s the perfect place to invigorate the body and mind of not only yourself, but your entire family!
The Beecher Community Center features two classrooms, kitchen facilities, and one large multi-use room. It is available for recreation programs, city events, community groups, organizations, and rentals. Community organizations groups who utilize the Beecher Community Center daily and weekly include Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Lions Club, Salvation Army Nutrition Program, Yorkville Economic Development, Kendall County, Senior Services, and Yorkville School District. Town Square, a two-acre park located in the heart of the downtown area, hosts several seasonal events and rental opportunities with a large gazebo shelter and well-groomed landscaping. Town Square is also host to the American Legion perpetual flame in recognition of the veterans. The local ball park, Van Emmon Memorial Park, is a picturesque setting for youth athletics. Future enhancements to this park include paved parking areas, permanent bleachers, additional landscaping buffers, and minor improvements to ball field layouts.
Medical
There are plenty of medical facilities nearby in Oswego and Aurora including Family Health and Wellness, Copley Memorial and Rush-Copley Medical Center, a 142-bed academic community hospital that offers a cancer center, heart institute, physical rehabilitation center and state-of-the-art fitness facility. In addition, Rush-Copley has just opened a brand new stand alone full care facility on Route 34 in Yorkville which is the prelude to a full campus medical facility that will be Kendall County’s premiere health provision.

Transportation
Yorkville is conveniently near a number of transportation corridors such as I-88, direct access to Route 34 and close to Route 47. A Park-and-Ride stop is located 5 minutes from Autumn Creek that offers express Pace bus service to the Aurora station where you can take the Metra BNSF line in to Chicago's Union Station. You can leave your door from Autumn Creek and be to Union Station in less than 90 minutes! This makes train commute times from Autumn Creek comparable to such suburbs as Oswego, Plainfield, South Naperville, North Aurora, Batavia, Geneva, Sugar Grove and St. Charles. Compare our value to these areas and it's no wonder Autumn Creek is one of the top selling communities in all of Chicagoland!
Schools
The Yorkville School District offers Bristol Grade School, Grande Reserve Elementary School, Yorkville Middle School, and Yorkville High School.
