Princeton Lakes is served by the City of Atlanta schools, with the following campuses closest to the neighborhood: Deerwood Elementary-a brand new state-of-the-art facility adjacent to Princeton Lakes, and is connected with sidewalks. The school opened in the fall of 2004 and features computer access in all classrooms. Ralph Bunche Middle School is special in that 90% of eighth graders met or exceeded the Performance Target established by the state on the 2003 Georgia Middle Grades Writing Assessment (MGWA). At Therrell High School, success is guaranteed for all students. The high school provides a supporting and nurturing environment that develops citizens who are scholarly, caring and devoted to their school and community.
