Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center serves the Emeryville area and offers exceptional medical care.
The Allegro Ballroom is owned and operated by Allegro Dancers, Inc., a California non-profit public-benefit educational corporation to promote ballroom dancing and other dance art forms. It is a multi-cultural ballroom dance school that is open to all and maintains a non-discrimination policy. The facilities include three ballroom dance floors, high-quality sound systems in all the floors, free parking, and easy access from any point in the San Francisco Bay Area. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), stretching from San Francisco to Concord, from Richmond to Fremont, and soon through Hayward into the Amador and Livermore Valleys, is the preeminent regional mass transit system in the San Francisco Bay Area. EmeryGoRound, a free shuttle service connecting Emeryville's businesses and shopping centers with Oakland's MacArthur BART Station, also services the Emeryville area. Emeryville Station is one of the newest Amtrak stations in northern California. Built just off Powell Street and across the tracks from Emeryville's Public Market, the station is centrally located for access to much of the East Bay. Emeryville is a full service Amtrak station. Staffed much of the day and evening, Emeryville is a stop for local San Joaquin and Capitol trains, as well as Amtrak's interstate trains: California Zephyr and Coast Starlight. Amtrak provides ticket sales, checked baggage, and package express service at Emeryville. There is a large parking lot, and parking is free.
The Emery Unified School District operates various collaborative programs, all of which incorporate technology to enhance the educational experience and prepare students for success in the 21st century.
