If golf is your passion, you’re in fairway heaven here with dozens of courses located within an easy drive. In downtown Phoenix, you can enjoy major league sports like Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and U.S. Airways Center-home of the Phoenix Suns as well as cultural encounters such as Dodge Theatre or Symphony Orchestra Hall. Nearby, Glendale offers access to many sporting events-from football at the University of Phoenix Stadium to hockey and lacrosse at Jobing.com Arena, as well as a variety of concerts and expos. For those who prefer more action, the Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Fireside at Norterra is just a short drive to Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX), and relatively close to a number of other airports such as Deer Valley Airport, Glendale Airport, and Phoenix Goodyear Airport.
Schools
Vista at Fireside at Norterra is served by the Deer Valley School District that is ranked in the top 6 of 42 schools in the Phoenix area.
For higher education, Arizona State University West campus located in Phoenix and ASU’s main campus located in Tempe are excellent Arizona colleges without going too far from home. There are also other universities like University of Phoenix and Ottawa University.
