If you prefer to stay closer to home enjoy a 40 acre, City of Phoenix, park located right in the heart of Stetson Valley.

At the nearby Wildlife World Zoo in Litchfield Park, you can go on an African safari by train, explore the Outback by boat, or ride the sky rail and get a bird's eye view of the grounds. The Phoenix Zoo is another fantastic venue for animal lovers.

Don't forget about white-water rafting on the Grand Canyon's Colorado River, hiking just north in the Grand Canyon or skiing in the area's famed ski resorts.
